This session highlights powerful case studies and features thought leader and RAW Community Partner Groundwork (Manchester), showcasing their impactful work. A panel of experts will then dive deeper into the strategies for empowering communities to take on retrofit projects.

Local & Combined Authorities: scaling up local retrofit, with Benx

Learn about transformative retrofit initiatives happening right in your own neighbourhood. We’ll present compelling case studies and feature thought leaders Benx, sharing their unique approach. The session concludes with a lively panel discussion on creating a ripple effect of sustainable change, one street at a time.

City and Regional Retrofit Strategy: the role of devolution, with Next Energy

Explore how large-scale, region-wide strategies are driving the retrofit revolution. This session features thought leaders Next Energy, an update on strategy and devolution, with  Greater Manchester Combined Authority's Head of Low Carbon, and examines how devolution is empowering counties and cities to accelerate their sustainable housing goals. A panel of leading voices will discuss the challenges and opportunities of scaling up retrofit projects across broader geographic areas.
