Inside a heat pump: virtual tour and homeowner Q&A
OnlineJoin our virtual tour of a home with a heat pump and get your questions answered about installation and living with one. As part of Nesta’s Visit a Heat Pump network, this event is perfect for homeowners curious about or considering heat pumps. Ask the host about costs, comfort, or energy efficiency. Recoup Waste Water Heat Recovery (WWHRS) retrofitting for existing properties
OnlineWaste Water Heat Recovery for Showers (WWHRS) saves energy by reducing hot water demand in showering. This event will introduce how it works, the energy saving benefits, and show how NEW and existing Recoup WWHRS products can be easily installed into existing properties and showering spaces.
Part of Retrofit Action Week and running up to The Home Upgrade Show, this event emphasises the need to retrofit existing properties with energy-saving technologies to achieve sustainability and lower energy use.

The two-day sociable event has a practical focus and plays an important role in providing information and support to all those embarking on or mid-way through retrofit projects. The event supports the delivery of retrofit, locally, and will allow you to build long-lasting relationships and help you progress your project.

A great event to attend. Met an awful lot of interesting people from a lot of different backgrounds, social housing providers, contractors, installers. It's particularly useful to see how different people can speak to each other about retrofit
Nice and compact…plenty of time to have a good chat with everyone - met some good people and you see the highlights. The workshops were very interesting which led to making some good relationships with architects and different builders and stuff that's going to be a good working relationship going forward

My main takeaway today was meeting the guys on the CITB training stall - that was absolutely outstanding
I think strengthening the kind of network of contacts and the retrofit industry in the Northwest was the most important thing for us. Meeting contractors and people who are interested in pushing retrofit forward, whether that be social housing providers, whether that be community groups, that sort of thing - looking at how it can be done at scale
